The Course

This is an 18 hole championship par 72 Located 40 minutes from downtown Charlotte, or 45 minutes from Greensboro, take the drive on I-85. In 2001, GolfCarolina.com, a TravelGolf.com Publication, rated The Crescent Golf Club No. 4 on their Top 10 Best Values of Charlotte list saying: “John LaFoy designed the course, which winds its way through an old dairy farm and is as interesting and in as good of shape as anything you’ll find in Charlotte for the money.”  Come see the newly revitalized course.

It is simply “a must play”, and sure to test every club in your bag. Among the many memorable holes on this superb layout are the par 3-8th hole, a signature shot over water to a wide, shallow green. The par 5-6th requires the most demanding, accurate drive on the course, but is reachable in two for long hitters. The approach is guarded by water and bunkers, ensuring that players of all levels will be challenged with classic risk/reward decision making.

On the back nine, players will be struck by par 4-12th hole with the huge live oak tree nestled on the left side of the fairway, and the elevation changes of the par 4-16th hole with its steeply elevated green.

Our course offers a driving range and practice area for players to warm up or just sharpen their skills.
